WSWGA HOME COURSE MONTHLY MEDAL: The competition shall begin on the first of March and end in October of the same year. Trustees shall schedule one day during each month for WSWGA home course medal play. Other medal rounds, such as qualifying, may also be used if designated in the club schedule. However, the total of such scheduled rounds shall not exceed sixteen per year, nor may more than two rounds be scheduled during any one month. Each club trustee will determine the number of divisions for her club each year and order the appropriate number of prizes at the time dues are paid. Prizes will be distributed to trustees at the summer meeting. Players shall be divided into one or more divisions, as equally as possible, according to handicap index as of March 1. The best three net scores of each player, using the course handicap from the tees played on the day of play for each round, shall determine the winner of each division. (a) Breaking a tie: In the event of a tie, the next best score of each player shall be used to determine the winner. If a tie still exists, the next best score, etc., shall be used. However, if a player who ties has posted only three scores in this event during the year, she may play another round at a time designated by the trustee, and it shall be optional with the other player to use her posted score or to play another round. She must make such decision before either player competes in a playoff round.
